National Touring Act Dropout Kings, Twenty Dollar Prophets, Rain Brings Weather, Dead is the New Black, Where It Lies, Promises Unsaid, Mike Storm, Firing All Cylinders, DeafBoutique, Skydrftr, Hollywood Nightmare, Sangre, Bantamweight, and 4 different battle of the band winners.
But wait! There’s more! There will be an EDM tent for you to dance until you drop with the greatest DJs around rotating throughout the day.
And as this wasn’t enough, there will also be different performers, carnival and games provided by the all amazing Funkin´ Funhouse. All while you dance, enjoy the fantastic acts, win all the games you can also eat and drink from a lot of different vendors and of course all your favorite bands will have their merch available for you.

Local Band Smokeout is a 420 friendly grass roots company that promotes unsigned and independent bands through a variety of public events and online media.
The host who’s higher than most, BG, promotes music of any genre, any artist, from anywhere in the entire world through online media and live music events.
BG had the idea of listening to and promoting bands while stoned, and pitched the idea to an old band mate. He told BG it was a terrible, dumb idea. So he set out to prove him wrong, fell in love with the concept, and the rest is history: Local Band Smokeout was born.
Local Band Smokeout began as a reaction and review show. Now, over eight years later it has over 3,300 music reaction videos, the most of any other channel on You Tube.
Local Band Smokeout has evolved to now host live stream music reaction/review and band interview show four days a week via Twitch and has grown to a crew of ten passionate music fans to coordinate it all. With prizes, trivia, music and interviews, it’s considered one of the most fun, unique music themed shows on the internet!
BG has recently started hosted local music shows in southern California and decided to take the dive and coordinate the first ever Local Band Smokeout Festival. Giving himself five months to
plan it, he quickly began working with local vendors, bands, sponsors etc. To coordinate the first 100 percent crowd funded (via Go Fund Me) music festival in southern California.
The Local Band Smokeout Festival takes place on Saturday, August 13 th at the Hilltop Tavern in Apple Valley CA. The event includes camping, 15 bands performing (Including headliners Drop Out Kings) along with performers, games, and carnival provided by Funkin’ Funhouse. An EDM tent will be rotating local DJ’s throughout the day playing a mixture of House/Trance/Electro/Dubstep and more. Expect numerous vendor booths, for both bands and sponsors. Of course food and drinks will be available!
