MELODIC METALCORE ACT LÝSIS DROP NEW SINGLE ‘HANDPRINTS’
HANDPRINTS is the latest single from Falumn, Sweden based melodic metalcore outfit LÝSIS. The band’s sound draws a lot of inspiration from the Gothenburg scene but adds in modern twists by incorporating other subgenres, including symphonic metal. Isak Olsson’s mix and production allows the band’s roots and modern sound to shine through on HANDPRINTS.
LÝSIS take their name from the process of the outer parts of a cell breaking down due to internal or external factors. Their lyrical themes translate this process into the human form, as a person might experience thoughts and feelings that go from destructive to coming out stronger.
