MOS GENERATOR Releases Final Single, “Getting Good At Revenge,” Before Album Release On Dec 16th

Veteran heavy rock band MOS GENERATOR has released their final single, “Getting Good At Revenge,” from their forthcoming, 10th studio album, “Time//Wounds,” that’s due out December 16th. Pre-order the album now at https://mosgenerator.bandcamp.com/album/time-wounds.

Commenting on the song, Tony Reed (guitar/vocals/keys) says:

Unlike many of the other songs on Time//Wounds, the influences on Getting Good At Revenge are relatively clear. The opening riff was actually written in 1991 and I can say it definitely pulls from things like King Crimson and No Means No. After the vocals enter it becomes full-on My War era Black Flag and stays that way until the breakdown. From the breakdown out, it seems to have more of that underground 80s sound mixed with goth style guitar work. Like if Rick Agnew was in Fugazi. This track stands out as an unexpected turn on the album, but then again, that seems to be the spirit of this collection.

About MOS GENERATOR:
Mos Generator formed during the winter of 2000 in Port Orchard, Washington from the ashes of a ten year off and on collaboration between its three members, all of which are long time veterans of road and studio. The need to strip down to the basics of hard rock was apparent from the start and continues to be the foundation for all the bands recent material.

Mos Generator have released 9 full length studio albums, a retrospective album, 2 live albums and a plethora of split 7″ and 12″ singles on such labels as Listenable, Roadburn, Glory or Death, Small Stone, Ripple, Nasoni, Lay Bare, Hevi Sike, H42, Argonauta, Kozmik Artifactz and Heavy Psych Sounds. Touring has been just as important to the profile of the band as making records has.

Over the years Mos Generator has shared the stage with many great heavy rock bands across Europe and North America including extensive tours with Saint Vitus, FU Manchu, Elder, Spirit Caravan and Atomic Bitchwax. They have also played many prestigious festivals throughout Europe including 2 appearances at Hellfest in France, opening up a whole new fan base to the Mos Generator sound. After 22 years of making music Mos Generator show no signs of slowing down.
