About the Band

Neverland, one of Switzerland’s leading power metal bands, has reunited with vocalist Mike Zotter (Ex-Stormhammer, Ex-Dreamscape) and will release their new album Illusory World this fall. After many years, it continues their highly acclaimed releases within the European metal scene. Illusory World follows a more melodic direction and features guest musicians such as Vitalij Kuprij (Ring of Fire, Artension) and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Billy Idol). As in previous productions, the mix is handled by Tommy Vetterli (Coroner, Kreator) at New Sound Studio.

Neverland’s upcoming album Illusory World, set for release on November 9, 2024, through POWER BLAST Records, delivers a powerful and melodic exploration of themes like isolation, rage, and the search for hope. Featuring the singles “Legends,” “Where is the Sun,” and “Fury,” the album delves into timeless values, inner conflict, and pressing global issues. With guest musicians Vitalij Kuprij and Derek Sherinian and mixed by Tommy Vetterli, Illusory World combines musical depth with existential themes, inspiring courage and change in challenging times.
