Greek hard rock legends NIGHTSTALKER to reissue full catalog on Heavy Psych Sounds; new studio album coming in 2025!
Heavy Psych Sounds Records announce the reissue of NIGHTSTALKER’s entire catalog, starting with their landmark 1994 debut record “Side FX”. The band is currently working on their new studio album, slated for an early 2025 release.
Their 1994 debut album “Side FX” captures the raw, rebellious energy of a whole era of rock, blending gritty, Motörhead-inspired heaviness with infectious grooves. Emerging from Greece during the height of grunge and alternative music, NIGHTSTALKER delivers a sound that’s unapologetically rough and driven by a heavy, rhythmic pulse. Their music channeled the raw power of ‘90s rock while they carved out their own space with hypnotic riffs, groovy basslines and a dark rebellious spirit.
“Side FX” will be issued in various vinyl editions and CD digipack on October 15th, with preorders starting now on Heavy Psych Sounds website.
About the reissue, the band says: “It’s been 30 years since Side FX dropped, and those riffs still hit hard. We’re proud to reissue our debut for all of you who’ve been with us since day one—and those just discovering it now! Crank it up and hear what we sounded like in the early 90s!”

Heavy sound, groovy rhythms, intense bass playing. All together with a lot of catchy melodies and the power of Argy’s vocals are the secrets of NIGHTSTALKER‘s sound. Raw rock ‘n roll simplicity, stunning riffs and electric haze have kept the band going since their inception in the early 90s.
NIGHTSTALKER released their first EP “Side FX” in 1994, followed by their first full-length album ‘USE’ (1996), which established their rich songwriting and the heavy sound that has since become their trademark. After a few member changes and the release of the dark and psych-laden “The Ritual” EP in 2000, the band managed to gain recognition and a wider fanbase through the release of the “Just A Burn” album. In 2009, the band released the “Superfreak” album through US imprint Meteor City, followed by their landmark record “Dead Rock Commandos” on Small Stone Records, all combined with European shows and summer festival appearances. They reached a new milestone with 2016’s “As Above, So Below” (Oak Islands Records), as its release was followed by hundreds of live shows and Metal Hammer Greece’s releasing a special tribute album with other bands covering Nightstalker songs.
In 2019, NIGHTSTALKER signed to leading heavy rock label Heavy Psych Sounds for the release of their latest album “Great Hallucinations”. After five years, they will return with their new studio offering in the winter of 2025.
