OF FEATHER AND BONE: “Resounding From The Depths” Playing At Revolver Magazine; Bestial Hymns Of Perversion Nears Profound Lore Release + Tour Dates Announced
As Profound Lore Records prepares to release Bestial Hymns Of Perversion, the debut LP fromDenver death metal outfit OF FEATHER AND BONE, Revolver Magazine has premiered the album’s latest single, “Resounding From The Depths.” The band has also announced several new rounds of tour dates for the spring and summer months.
OF FEATHER AND BONE declares with the new song, “A blend of chaotic blasts, unrelenting d-beat influence, and slow and somber cavernous aesthetic, ‘Resounding From The Depths’ is a showcase of the versatile elements we include in the writing style on this new record.”
Revolver offers in part, “The song kicks in with a thick layer of riffs that feels a lot closer to being attacked by hornets than it does listening to ‘music.’ There is subtlety at work to the band’s destruction, however, as the band melds in grooves and slow downs that keep one on their toes. It’s chaos, but carefully architect for maximum ruin.”

Following the release of Bestial Hymns Of Perversion, OF FEATHER AND BONE will support the record with a barrage of tour dates which is continually expanding. The newest dates to be announced see the band storming the West Coast on a headlining run from May 31st through June 8th, which sees them playing at Northwest Terror Fest in Seattle on June 1st alongside Primitive Man, Gloam, Lago, and, Mortiferum, as well as 71Grind fest in Colorado Springs on June 8th withMizmor, Transient with Bastard Noise, Brainoil, Vermin Womb, Wayfarer, and dozens more.
OF FEATHER AND BONE returns home for a few days, then kicks off a new tour with a hometown show June 13th, after which they embark on an East Coast-bound tour with Tomb Mold. This tour swings through the Southwest to play at Austin Terror Fest on June 15th alongside Yob, 40 Watt Sun, Bell Witch, Pinkish Black, Sixes, and more, then rips through the Southern region and up the East Coast into Canada for two shows, before closing down the tour with a headlining show in Chicago June 27th. Additional new tour dates will be announced shortly.
