Quickly growing numetal band Otherworldly Entity has brought the breakdown with their new single, Sin, which came out September 30. This is their first new material since acquiring their new drummer Shawn Washer, and his beatdown metal background is an obvious factor in the new song.
Otherworldly Entity has played alongside bands like Infected Rain, September Mourning, Cold, Psyclon Nine, and even played the popular Metal in the Mountains festival in Pipestem, WV in 2021.
“So often, we’re surrounded by such amazing and heavy bands that I think it has really started to influence our material. Especially when you play with bands like Infected Rain and Psyclon Nine, you can’t help but see how the heaviness can still bring the drama.“
John Harris, Singer, Otherworldly Entity
Otherworldly Entity has been performing Sin live at shows all over the northeast for the past few months, giving live audiences a chance to prepare for its launch.
“The audience response has been absolutely amazing. We usually don’t play songs live before we release them, but we were so excited to bring Sin out that when we were scheduled to play with September Mourning, we decided to bring it out.“

“Sin” is streaming now everywhere, but on October 14, Otherworldly Entity is releasing a music video for the song which brings the audience into an “alternate reality,” bringing the Otherworldly to life.
Stream Sin on all major platforms and keep an eye out for the music video coming out on October 14
