Nordic combat statement: PARADOGMATA release new video single The Seeds Of Greed and announce upcoming album Endetid!

Album release Endetid on November 23rd
Pre-Order starts now!

Fundamental social criticism has often been the concern of traditional thrash and speed metal, and with today’s release of the video single The Seeds Of Greed of the Norwegians PARADOGMATA, this is presented again in unmistakable harshness.

On the first single of the upcoming album Endetid, politics and the church are getting their comeuppance for roaming the lands of corruption and intrigue hand in hand with large corporations.

The song emerged rather spontaneously from said topic during a rehearsal for the album and could be considered the unplanned outburst of rage on the record, as shouter Frank Bøkseth remembers: “But the energy in this hectic, buzzy little scoundrel had to be put on tape ASAP, and I think that was for the best. It’s the fastest song, and possibly the one with the most words in it too, despite ticking in at just over 3 minutes!”

Endetid, the title of the album that is set for release on November 23rd, is Norwegian for end time. Mankind is doing away with itself, no one intervenes against it and the future of the planet is uncertain. This is the album’s leitmotif, fueling a vast spectrum of stormy thrash sounds, thoughtful passages and traditional heavy metal riffs. The band is stylistically broadly positioned, strictly rejects blinkers and doesn’t really like to classify itself. Nevertheless, on Endetid PARADOGMATA drew a path: “Metal for the schizophrenic, haha. We love those songs, though the new material is more firmly rooted in the borderlands between thrash, death & black, but still with our melodic approach.”
PARADOGMATA take us on a dramatic journey of challenging songs that look behind the scenes of society. The band makes a clear statement: Indifference and too much power lead to downfall. “Does the world deserve having us as ‘alphas’?” is the question, their album will leave us with.

About PARADOGMATA

PARADOGMATA was formed in 2018 in Trondheim, Norway. The band started off as a trio with two guitarists, Per and Wojchiech, and Svein on bass. After a while, Bo joined on drums. Wojciech left the band and in early 2021 Frank (ex-The Embraced) joined as vocalist. Since then PARADOGMATA has been gaining momentum. The current songs and the sound of the band evolved towards harder, more aggressive musical territories, reveiling a mixture of heavy metal, melodic death and US thrash with influences of speed and black metal in the mix. However, the emphasis is on melodic leads, groovy bass and the riffs. They were originally inspired by bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, MSG, Motörhead and Megadeth. Nowadays the echoes of bands like Carcass, Edge of Sanity, Kreator, Sepultura, Death and At The Gates are audible. PARADOGMATA creates a musical landscape where listeners can escape and find something honest and real: music that stays in the muscle and the memory
