Paranoia Church returns with ‘V is for Vulture’, a chilling new single that delves into the darkest corners of faith, power, and control! Lord, have mercy!

The song exposes the terrifying reality of blind belief and mass manipulation, confronting the horrors that arise when devotion turns into fanaticism. While religion serves as background, that’s a metaphor that can be applied to many other aspects in modern society—from political polarization and fascism to fake news and the impact of social media.

“‘V is for Vulture’ is my tongue-in-cheek, protest-anthem against all the vultures out there exploiting people, spreading prejudice and misinformation, dragging us back to the dark ages by keeping us trapped in a cycle of fear and obedience. What more terrifying monsters could you imagine?” asks Bruno Rios, the twisted mind behind Paranoia Church.

Heavily influenced by names like King Diamond and Annihilator, the track marks a return to a more Traditional Metal sound, also weaving together elements of Power, Speed, and Thrash Metal. Once again, Bruno takes charge of all guitars, bass, and keyboards, but this time, a brand-new team joins the Church. On drums, Equatorian multi-instrumentalist Fabián Carrión Troya (Wishfor; Ely y las Luciérnagas) delivers an urgent performance that blends Mikkey Dee with Clive Burr, while Turkish vocal god Berzan Önen (Deer from Space; Black Water Sunset; Crypted Roots) takes listeners on a spiraling fever dream with his commanding four-octave vocal range.

The single was mixed and mastered by Polish sound engineer Widek, who has worked with notable artists such as Nick Menza (ex-Megadeth), Marco Sfogli, Plini, Per Nilsson (Scar Symmetry), and Chris Letchford (Scale the Summit), among others.

V is for Vulture’, the 6th chapter in Paranoia Church’s haunting saga towards a full-length album in 2025, came out on October 31st and will be available on all your least hated streaming platforms.
