Post hardcore French outfit MAPS AND FOILS released new EP « Dies Irae ».

Three years after their second album ‘Less Is Mort’, Parisian post-hardcore band Maps And Foils returns with a new EP entitled ‘Dies Irae‘.

In the midst of recording their new album, Maps And Foils refuse to stay silent and release 3 brand new songs gathered on the EP ‘Dies Irae’.

While the first single ‘Infernal’ was tipping its metal hat to 90s heavy music, the title track is a post-metallic cavalcade highlighting Thomas’ gui tars recorded just before his departure.

As the haunted lyrics scream about destroyed relationships and heavenly wrath, a System Of A Down cover of ‘Innervision’ emerges from the dark to infuse some fun into the EP, like a return to the mothership before tackling the next cycle.
