PREDATORY VOID – Releases video for “Funerary Vision”, Debut Album, “Seven Keys to the Discomfort of Being” Is Out Now

Last week PREDATORY VOID have released “Seven Keys to the Discomfort of Being” to much acclaim via Century Media Records. The afternoon before the band played their debut album in its entirety at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in Tilburg. Today they are unveiling a new video to the final, 10 minute long track, “Funerary Vision”, that was created by Dehn Sora: watch HERE.
PREDATORY VOID comments the song and video as follows: “’Funerary Vision’ is an epic post metal song about dark prophecies one makes, traveling through endless winter landscapes, unable to live in the now. Failure, decline and withering inescapably await, and make life unbearable.”
About presenting the album at Roadburn the band has the following to say: “Playing the complete album for likeminded souls at Roadburn really felt like the exciting starting point of the band’s live journey. It filled us with energy and eagerness to go out and play our songs for people everywhere.”

PREDATORY VOID came to be when guitarist Lennart Bossu (Amenra, Oathbreaker) found himself writing material that wasn’t really suited for Amenra. Lennart gathered a group of likeminded people living in the area of Ghent (BE) – including the versatile vocalist and tattoo artist Lina R – and soon after, the band was born, with Tim De Gieter (bass; Amenra, Doodseskader, Much Luv Studio), Thijs De Cloedt (guitar; Cobra The Impaler, ex-Aborted), and Vincent Verstrepen (drums). PREDATORY VOID played their first show at the renowned Soulcrusher Festival (NL) alongside artists such as Ihsahn, Envy, Cave In and Heriot, creating a buzz within the scene. With an album’s worth of material already written, they signed to Century Media Records for their worldwide debut.
