Post-Thrash Metal act Primatron releases the powerful and progressive new single “One More Usurper”
Primatron, a Brazilian Post-Thrash Metal project with a growing following, has just released their latest single, “One More Usurper” a powerful, goose-step but proggy diatribe against lawfare and biased judicial procedures that have plagued institutions in Brazil.
With its crushing guitar riffs, thundering drums, roaring vocals and somber melodies, “One More Usurper” is a denouncement of judges and other non- elected public servants abusing their positions to exert influence in politics. The song is a powerful way to revisit deeds and procedures that took place in the famous “Operation Car Wash” and, by its long-term consequences, led Brazil to the brink of a coup in the period between 2014 to 2022.
“This is a reminder not to let would-be saviors take the spotlight nor power, and the times seem to be particularly ripe for a message like this” said Diogo W F Pereira, the man behind Primatron. “As the world faces ever-growing threats to democracy, this is one of the most relevant topics to be discussed these days”.
.”One More Usurper” is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. A lyric video is also available on YouTube. Primatron is steadily becoming known for hard-hitting songs and socially conscious lyrics. With “One More Usurper” the Post-Thrash project continues to push the boundaries of their style and convey an urgent message.
