This first EP, “Disillusion”, consisting of 5 tracks, is a way for the band to make its mark on the current scene and allow
Pythies to assert its universe and its claims. The name of the 5-track album reflects all the disappointments and the end of certain
fantasies that a woman entering adulthood can experience.
Vocalist and bassist Lise.L tackles themes already present in the band’s universe, such as feminism and esotericism,
but now it’s a question of incorporating them in a new way. now incorporates more “noise” and dissonance inspirations,
in a still very “bitchy” tone. Key influences : Sonic Youth, Hole and the Breeders
