Texas Metal/Progressive/Rock from San Antonio, TX, The Recasts consist of five members hailing from five different hometowns, and their origins were forged by chance—almost not happening at all.
In 2011, frontman and military veteran RecastMando narrowly returned from his last deployment. After years of supporting the music scene, he felt this might be his final opportunity to make his dream a reality.
With members from New York, Houston, Chicago, New Mexico, and San Antonio, The Recasts emerged after years of honing their sound and developing a powerful, adrenaline-fueled stage performance.
Their music blends punk, metal, and rock and roll, creating an electrifying sound that gets your blood pumping. The diverse backgrounds, races, and genres of the band members contribute to The Recasts’ unique and original sound.
