Los Angeles based Indonesian-American Heavy Metal band Reog recently unleased their long awaited single and accompanying music video, ‘Daily Grind’. A hard hitting classic metal anthem featuring electrifying guitar work, the release is sure to rejuvenate the hard rock/heavy metal genre.
Filmed during the Yogyakarta leg of the bands recent Indonesia tour, the video features breathtaking shots of the ancient kingdom including visually stunning drone shots of the city, temples and countryside. Working with director Novi Hartoyo, the video draws from wide influences including Javanese legend and the iconic Indonesian horror/suspense genre.
Set to be both a rebirth and the culmination of their years on the Los Angeles metal scene, the band has announced their forthcoming self titled album, on which this definitive release of the song ‘Daily Grind’ will appear.
