Manfrea is a 5-piece band from Moscow, Russia. Started as a black metal duo of musicians Christian Noir and Yar SWraith in 2014, the act became a full-fledged one. During this time, Manfrea has recorded 1 long-play and 1 extended play.
As of today, the band is ready to announce their sophomore album “NOIRE” which is inspired by personal experiences, literature and obscure music (and sometimes by popular music) such as post-black metal, dark synthwave, alternative and metalcore.
“ROSES” is the one of the first written & recorded songs off of upcoming album. This song is about love lost and the termination of the soul. Musically, it’s a frenzy mixture of many genres: starting with a synthwave-type intro, the song becomes more 2010’s-metalcore type and it ends with slowed blackened breakdown with sinister synthesizers.
Single “ROSES” out today worldwide, premiered yesterday via “Spaceuntravel” YouTube channel.
