Hannah Collins (aka Scene Queen) returns to her real-life sorority past, in a music video designed to show the sisterhood among women, and her trademark sense of humor in order to address difficult topics, like catcalling, the objectification of women and harassment. Pink Rover,” ends by showing that even nice girls can be pushed too far. Watch the new music video HERE.

Scene Queen is not here to be quiet, and she is not here to apologize. With lyrics that come for the throat of misogynists and genre purists, Collins is not afraid to disrupt the peace. Pink Rover” is a perfect representation of her fearlessness not only as an artist but as a songwriter. Collins has continued to make waves online through her massive platform on TikTok (over 270k followers to date) and reveals a sneak peak of the official music video for Pink Rover” HERE.

Scene Queen shares on this release: When I wrote this song I had been living in Hollywood for 6 years. Women that live in major cities understand that there’s a certain level of harassment you deal with every single day through catcalling. The amount of times I have had to call friends and pretend I was on the phone with my boyfriend to avoid feeling unsafe or objectified is honestly a traumatizing amount. So this song was written to explain the rage I feel towards a society that allows women to be treated that way.”

She adds about the creation of Pink Rover: “ When I walked in the studio with my male producers and co writer, they had already been working on a track idea that involved a knife sound and ironically I had literally just been whistled at getting out of my car to walk into the session, so it all clicked. And having two guys in the session was honestly the perfect test audience for the lyrics. Something that you know is attacking a very specific audience and if you’re not the target you can tell I’m not fully serious. I wanted to get the point across but have a sense of humor about it because I think having a sense of humor makes hard topics easier to digest. And of course in Scene Queen fashion, I had to throw in some pink.
After years of working in other genres, Hannah Collins knew it was time she released a track for the emo scene she loved so much. As Scene Queen, the then 23-year-old took to TikTok to introduce her debut track, where it achieved viral support. Are You Tired?” found its way to No. 2 on the iTunes rock charts after the song’s release, remarkably Scene Queen then managed to replicate her viral success with her followup single, Pretty In Pink,” doubling her TikTok following within a year.

Scene Queen is the epitome of the new emo scene. A new scene where everyone is welcome. Her music shows the cracks in society and breaks down the walls we put up everyday. To show that although this new scene may look different, we are all pink on the inside. Scene Queen makes emo songs for emotional people.
