SILENT WINTER – “The Circles of Hell” from the homonymous album
The band was initially formed in the middle of 90’s in the city of Volos (central Greece). Back then the band recorded and released two demo tapes “silent winter” and “war of an angel”. In 2018 the band was reformed with 4 new members and released an EP with 5 songs.
In 2019, they agreed with the Greek label Sonic Age records for the release of our first album ‘The Circles of Hell’ which was released in May 2019.
We present you the homonymous song titled “The Circles of Hell”.

The band was initially formed in the middle of 90’s in the city of Volos(central GReece).Back then the band recorded and released two demo tapes “silent winter” and “war of an angel” .Also played some gigs and appeared in local festivals. In 2018 the band was reformed with 4 new members and released an EP with 5 songs. One of them was a new version of an old demo song (far away)which also was their first video clip under the production of Progressive Vision Group (Bob Katsionis).Their first EP received positive feedback and reviews throughout the world . The only old member left in the band from the original band in 1995 is Kiriakos Balanos on guitars, and Giorgos Loukakis on bass. The new members are Giannis Antonopoulos on drums , the well known Mike Livas on vocals (Maidenance, Keepers of jericho, timo tolkki tour singer), Vaggelis Papadimitriou on guitar and Yiannis Manopoulos (Thelemite)on keyboards.
In 2019, they agreed with the Greek label Sonic Age records for the release of our first album ‘The Circles of Hell’ which was released in May 2019. The worldwide response was very positive in countries like Germany, France, Brazil, Czech Republic, and the album’s distribution took place in many stores in Europe but also several copies were given to America and Japan. The reviews on the album were almost excellent by all Greek and European publications. At the end of the year, it was featured by many sites in the top releases of the year. Several 3d lyric videos have also been released in collaboration with Harry Kountouris who is also now responsible for all the live visuals of Sabaton , as well as some 3D lyric videos of Rotting Christ.
During this year, they also gave some live shows with Skyclad in Larissa, acid death and Nightrage at the Golden R festival in Volos, and a release show together with Floating worlds in Athens’ Remedy stage.
The band is now in the process of recording new songs for the next album
