Tampa’s progressive metal powerhouse NOM∀DIC has announced plans to release their long-awaited debut, full-length album, “Euphoria,” on April 17th via Forerunner Recordings. The foursome’s record will be their first complete record following a string of singles like “Nexus,” “dysmorphia (i’m so sorry)” and “The VVitch” as well as an EP, Horror, that catapulted the band into the death metal scene as one of its next captivating bands. Known for their crushing riffs and positive lyrical messages, the band looks to further establish themselves as South Florida’s next breakout success.
Commenting on the impending album, frontman James Lewis states, “‘Euphoria’ is the culmination of everything we’ve been working on for the last two years. It’s emotional and nostalgic with a touch of progressive nihilism. We hope you enjoy it, feel it, and connect with it.”

NOM∀DIC is exactly the type of band you’d expect to emerge from the rich musical heritage of Tampa, Florida—a sonic breeding ground whose iconic contributions to heavy metal are heard far and wide.
Since 2016, the band has paired the ambience and gloom of modern black and death metal with catchy metalcore essentials to create a signature style that effortlessly spans subgenres. It’s no surprise that NOM∀DIC’s recent releases have earned acclaim from Spotify’s New Metal Tracks playlist and Metal Hammer Magazine, among other tastemakers who have been quick to recognize the young band’s pronounced potential.
On the heels of an ambitious touring cycle with popular metal mainstays like The Faceless and Lorna Shore, NOM∀DIC’s forthcoming “Euphoria” is an LP that highlights their dynamic, emotional transition from NWOAHM-style riffage to a more nuanced, thematically developed sound. If this growth is any indication of the band’s trajectory, NOM∀DIC’s dark aura is offset only by their bright, promising future in modern metal.
