STEEL PANTHER ANNOUNCE EXTENSIVE CANADIAN LEG OF ON THE PROWL WORLD TOUR; Band advances to the next stage in America’s Got Talent race after blowing away the judges at their audition
One of Canada’s favourite metal imports, Steel Panther, are on the road again in support of their latest album, On The Prowl, and they’re not doing the all too familiar ‘one and done’ Canadian stop in Toronto. They’ll be stopping in almost every province, going from coast to coast starting in Nova Scotia in early September and wrapping up the month-long Canadian leg in British Columbia on September 28th. So wherever you are, get ready for the show of your life.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 16th at 10am local time – all dates listed below. Steel Panther ultra-fans can purchase VIP Packages as soon as 12pm ET today. Additional Information on ticket and VIP packages including meet and greets, exclusive merch items, early entry and more for the On The Prowl World Tour 2023 can be found here.
The band has been all over the map lately and fans may have been a bit surprised to learn that they have entered the America’s Got Talent (AGT) race! Because well, we KNOW they’ve got talent, but… this is not a drill. This is not a bit. They (to no surprise) wowed the judges – receiving a standing ovation from the crowd before their first note, another from the judges, and another after their set – and have advanced to the live rounds with an emphatic “YES” from every judge on the panel, which will start later this summer. Just in time to get all kinds of amped up for the fall Canadian shows that will follow.
It was so well received in fact that the judge most well-known for being hard to please, Simon Cowell, summed up his experience watching them play by saying, “Everything about that audition for me was just brilliant.” Watch the audition here, where they played their fan-favourite song, Eyes Of A Panther and get a preview of what it’ll be like to see the song live in the new video taken from the On The Prowl tour here.

That’s not it, either! What do we love most about this band? That they’re constantly surprising us and finding new ways to expand their societal footprint – from their Who’s Your Daddy(‘s Jokes) series to custom guitar pedals. To continue the hilarity over their popular SPTV YouTube Channel, Steel Panther have launched a new video series. The new show – Are You Metal? – is the band’s first game show hosted by drummer Stix Zadinia and seeks to find out which of his bandmates is the most-metal on a given week. Vocalist Michael Starr, guitarist Satchel and bassist Spyder answer trivia as only they can with hilarious results. With new episodes available weekly on Tuesdays, you can check out what they’ve got on the go and head down a SPTV video rabbit hole right here.
Bringing them their most-recent #1 Billboard Comedy album, their self-produced sixth studio album, On The Prowl dropped in February of this year. The album is currently available for order in multiple configurations including CD, Cassette, and 2 different color variant vinyl records here. You’re going to want to know those songs by heart by September, so get listening – get those songs on repeat. From the opening synth intro of “Never Too Late (To Get Some Pu**y Tonight)” to the thunderous outro of “Sleeping On The Rollaway,” Steel Panther never disappoints with the masterfully infectious riffs, pounding drums, unforgettable vocals and witty humor that has earned them an unwavering global audience. Songs like “On Your Instagram,” “Magical Vagina” and “One Pump Chump” fill the world’s biggest live stages seamlessly next to their most-memorable songs.

MORE ABOUT STEEL PANTHER:
History falls on two sides of one line. There was the age before Steel Panther—but let’s be honest, no one cares about any of that. And then, there was the age after Steel Panther, which is all that matters. Since Steel Panther clawed their way out of the Sunset Strip and onto the global stage, rock ‘n’ roll has kicked ass once again.
For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000. They have continuously flown the flag for heavy metal higher than anybody this century. 2009’s Feel The Steel announced their arrival as saviors of rock, showing guests such as Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour, M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, and Scott Ian of Anthrax how it’s done! On its heels, Balls Out boasted collaborations with everyone from Chad Kroeger of Nickelback and Nuno Bettencourt to Dane Cook. The group unleashed a string of banging LPs, namely All You Can Eat , Lower The Bar , and Heavy Metal Rules . Meanwhile, they earned ink from Billboard, Classic Rock, Consequence, Metal Hammer, and more, tallying hundreds of millions of streams views in the process. They’ve logged countless miles on the road (and stolen groupies from) Aerosmith and Stone Sour in addition to leaving festivals such as Download begging for more. Steel Panther is a global phenomenon with five full-length albums, touring across the world, platinum-level You Tube status and high-profile television appearances such as Jimmy Kimmel Live, Larry King Now, and FOX NFL Sunday. Now, the quartet—Michael Starr [lead vocals], Satchel [lead guitar], Spyder [bass], and Stix Zadinia [drums]—reach another level altogether on their sixth full-length offering, On The Prowl.
