“So Blind” is a song about maintaining your voice through a toxic relationship. It speaks to the strength that it takes to speak up about what matters to you and why, and normalizes cutting ties that are no longer serving you.
Musically, the song starts out melancholic and pleading; begging to be heard. It builds, sounding angrier and more demanding, through to the chorus which erupts into a chaotic and driving pulse. Unexpected twists are explored in the bridge, resolving into a final uplifting and cathartic chorus. Listeners can expect layers of heavy electric guitars, with sparse verses and bright accents. Melodic bass and chaotic, driving drums. Powerhouse vocals with tightly wound harmonies that create both tension and release through the song.
Previously, Strange Breed released singles “Tethers” and “Reputation”. Both have seen incredible success with features on The Strombo Show, idobi Radio and Stingray Music. “Reputation” was added as one of The Strombo Show’s Top 100 Songs of 2020.
