Los Angeles, CA – ‘“Black and Yellow” – is the latest video in a series of collaborations between the God Bombs and LA-based Cinematographer/Director Jason Kaplan. The truth sometimes is best conveyed through music and art, both of which this collaboration between God Bombs lead vocalist – Justin Symbol, featured guitarist – Chris Lorraine, and Cinematographer Jason Kaplan has accomplished with their single “Black and Yellow”.
ABOUT “BLACK AND YELLOW”:
“The video explores the horror of corporate America, where talented humans are bled of their creativity and funneled into a meaningless “hive” system of work and drudgery. The concept began with the idea to have disgruntled office workers and an overbearing boss villain who would morph into some kind of bee creature with hives sprouting out of him. I like that it weaves a horror narrative with some elements of humor in the office environment, and of course, the band rocking out in the warehouse! It was helped along by some really great extras, friends of ours who showed up for the shoot in costume! (Humberto Meza, Dave Leon, and more).
Make-up artist, Autumn Lee, created great beehive prosthetics, and an actor friend ended up playing the Boss in an excellent performance. I spent days crafting the custom “beehive” guitar played by Chris Lorraine in the video. Later we added a band performance scene shot in an abandoned warehouse location that Jason found, thus finalizing an incredible video!

ABOUT THE GOD BOMBS:
The God Bombs are back in LA with a new lineup and a new album being recorded. The music video for “Black and Yellow” is awaiting release while rumors spread of collaborations with other musicians and artists on the upcoming album GΩDHEAD.
The God Bombs are known for their hard-hitting, straight-ahead electro-punk industrial sound. The band has been amassing a dedicated cult following, touring North America in recent years, including the Amerikkkant Tour supporting Ministry. Other artists they’ve toured with include Mushroomhead, Green Jello, The Bunny The Bear, William Control, Psyclon Nine, and Tim Skold.
They have performed at festivals around the country including Wasteland Weekend (California), Sanctuary Festival (Chicago), Apoxeast (Pennsylvania), and Nickstock (Upstate NY).
They’ve also written songs with Marilyn Manson co-founder Daisy Berkowitz, and former Beck DJ and US DMC Champion DJ Swamp. Their popular music videos total over 450,000 views on YouTube. Live footage from the Ministry tour is available on the HEX LIVE DVD. With features from some of the most unique and creative minds in music today, The God Bombs are poised to make a huge impact with their new album.
