Biography

Fernando Arteaga González was born in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz, Spain). Since childhood, influenced by his relatives, he began to feel passion and interest for music. When he was a kid he studied musical language and piano, and some time after he chose to start playing guitar with guitarist Juan Fernandez of 40 Promesas. His family left a mark on him for music tastes, when he started to listen to bands such as ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, The Jayhawks, REM, Jimi Hendrix and many more.

In his teenage years, he created some of his firsts bands and gigs alongside the country, playing in festivals such as Monkey Week 2012 (El Puerto de Santa Maria). In 2013 his first studio album was released and later that year, in December, he moved to Santiago de Chile (Chile) due to the economic crisis of the moment.

After many attempts of assembling a band, at the end of 2015 he finally joined Luis (vocal) to create Hollow Humanity band, by releasing together one LP, one EP, one Split and 3 Singles, as well as four video clips. During his 4 years of activity in the band, they played in countries like Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany and Czech Republic. In 2018, their album, “Hives & Trophies”, was nominated to “Best Modern Metal disc of the year” by the Premios Escuchar awards (Chile); meanwhile his belonging to Hollow Humanity band, he also took part in the band called Asunto, where he was a member until the split of the band.

In February 2020, Fernando Arteaga announced his leave out of the band due to the difficulties of playing, as he was living in San Sebastián at that moment.

Biography

After an inspiring evening in 2015, absorbing the sonic vibes of their mutual favourite metal bands, two friends Jan and Gunnar decided to claim their periphery and the diverging melodic death doom band Fragmentum emerged.

Connected in previous metal projects Mental Shadow, Octahedron and Bellator they now fully represent Fragmentum, a musical, graphical and philosophical synergy.

The alliance of musical creativity resulted in the adamant but sincere EP D!VERGE.

Working as hell on new songs and enforcing the band with new members for live playing resulted in their debut album PUGNACITY. This full album was released worldwide shortly after touring with Children of Bodom in US and has been received with rave response and reviews from the metal industry and fans.

Subsequently Fragmentum shared the stage with Soulfly on their European tour and played more venues with mayor bands like Annihilator.

The second full album MASTERS OF PERPLEXITY containing blasting diverging Maya theme metal songs is released upon all metal-heads on April 16 2021. Recording, mixing and mastering have been done in their own studio Z-Underground.

A cool intriguing video clip of the Origination Of Mankind song was spread on all social media on March 26th 2021.

The band is now preparing to bring the album live in cooperation with Total Metal Concerts & Booking. Upcoming shows will be announced via the website and social media channels.

Biography

Efyd born at the end of 2016 at the line-up of Mark on drums and Frank on guitar and vocals.
In July 2017, the band firstly test goodness of their work at The One Live Pub in Cassano d’Adda, immediately receiving good appreciation of their songs.

On December 8, Efyd entered the Prosdocimi Recording Studios in Carmignano di Brenta, to record their first EP, titled “Evil Instinct”, which was mastered by Ronan Chris Murphy at his studio in Los Angeles.

In April 2018, Efyd welcome Andrea, a technical bassist, who adds substantial power and hypnotic textures to the songs. June 24 marks the debut of Andrea in Efyd, at the Light No More Shines Festival in Agrate Brianza.

On the 12th of October of the same year, band entered the same studio, to record the second EP, which was presented December 21 at the Blu Rose Live Pub, in Bresso.

Playing a lot of gigs around country, at the same time, Efyd drafts the songs for the debut album. Unfortunately, at that time, Andrea leaves the band because of musical inconsistencies.

In August 2020, Luca joined the band as a new bass player.

In February 2021, Efyd entered Carlo Meroni’s ADSR Decibel Studio in Busto Arsizio, for the recording of their first full-length, “Like Shadows”. The album was released worldwide on December 10, by Metal Scrap Records.
