OG8 RELEASES SECOND SINGLE “CHANGE”
LAS VEGAS / PORTLAND — Embracing transformation—whether leaving a toxic relationship, beginning a new chapter, or breaking free from someone else’s expectations—is at the heart of OG8’s powerful new single, “Change.”
The track builds from a stirring guitar bed into a soaring, anthemic chorus with the hypnotic hook “Sail away, sail away.” Layered with melodic rock energy and raw emotion, “Change” delivers a message of liberation, self-trust, and the growing inner voice that urges you to move forward.
Following the strong debut of “W.O.M.A.N.,” “Change” continues OG8’s theme of bold self-empowerment. While “W.O.M.A.N.” lit a fire of defiance, “Change” offers assurance and freedom in letting go.
With echoes of Led Zeppelin and Heart, the song showcases vocalist Jaime Lynch’s commanding presence soaring over guitarist Troy Williver’s driving riffs. It’s the sound of a band with something to prove — and the confidence to do it their way.
“It takes more than talent in this industry,” says Lynch. “I spent years playing a role in someone else’s vision — controlled by how I had to look, what I had to do, and how I had to sound. ‘Change’ is about finally doing things our way. I’m grateful to have a supportive family and circle around me, but this band is powered by our own vision.”
About OG8 OG8 is a collective of award-winning, seasoned musicians united by a shared belief: love of music above ego. Founded in 2023 by guitarist Troy Williver in Portland, Oregon, the band operates independently through its own label, Beat Farm Music.
After searching for a vocalist who could both command the stage and match the band’s eclectic rock-Americana-blues sound, Williver found the perfect frontwoman in Jaime Lynch — a multiple “Best of Las Vegas” winner whose powerhouse voice became the final spark. The lineup is rounded out by Michael Thomas Underwood III (drums), Renato Caranto (saxophone), George Mitchell (keys), Phil Baker (bass), and sound engineer Drew Canulette.
