FOLLOWS RELEASE OF LATEST ALBUM KILL THE KING – LISTEN HERE

Following the release of their hard-hitting new album Kill the King, Calgary rock powerhouse Prisoner returns with the official music video for “Double Vision”, premiering exclusively via Decibel Magazine. Directed and produced by Mark Hemstock (Hemstock Films) and co-directed by frontman Murray Emery, the video brings to life the psychological tension and duality at the heart of the track. Shot in the haunting backdrop of Crooks Hollow Studio—Emery’s own creative space—the cinematic visual delves into the blurred lines between fantasy and reality, internal conflict, and the cost of chasing dreams.

“Double Vision is a direct correlation to conceptualizing the contrast of reality and fantasy. Exemplified through the video, the viewer is taken on a journey through an internal mental battle of daily life and the option to live a dream at a cost, or follow the path meant for them.

Commenting on one of the various meanings to this song, it is the best video we have made to date with an intense storyline that brings this song to life.” -Murray Emery
