Since their inception, Red Method have rarely touched the ground.

Their debut release, the aptly titled For the Sick…, dropped just before lockdown — yet while the world stood still, Red Method refused to.

Defying the odds, they built unstoppable momentum, driven by a ferocious live presence and a devoted fanbase known as the Bloodline.

From cramming onto tiny local stages to being voted by fans to headline the Download Takeover and open Bloodstock’s main stage, Red Method’s rise has been nothing short of relentless — all within just two years and three lockdowns.

Now, after years of anticipation, the next chapter is almost here. Every detail poured over, every riff sharpened — the blood returns to the soil.

The new album doesn’t just continue the story; it expands it. If their first record was the crime, this one is the kill.

In the time since, Red Method have sold out venues across the UK and Europe, headlined independent festivals, and shared stages with heavyweights including Phil Anselmo, Cradle of Filth, Sleep Token, and Infected Rain.

Becoming The Sickness serves as an account of personal experiences dealing with issues that took us to the very edge.

Anyone can feel that they are in a hole so deep that they’ve forgotten what it’s like to be on the surface and breathe again.

Sometimes the pain is so raw and real that we hide in our own shadow, fearing what people would think if they saw the real us. Between the feelings of crippling anxiety and depression it’s easy to feel like there is no way out. We have become the sickness.

J S.A.N.G.R.E (Lead Vocals) says

“This album is everything; A primal onslaught of human emotion and a critique of the world as it is now.

It’s a catharsis exploring every corner and facet of human suffering. Be it the intense paranoia and disconnection we feel coming out of a lockdown and into a war where each one of us can feel the doomsday clock ticking ever closer to midnight.

The loneliness where we have slowly lost our human touch, communicating what we want others to see on social media platforms.

The loss of ourselves as we desperately try to hang on to something that’s real yet in turn to only be disappointed again. Issues are revealed around broken relationships, trauma and abuse where we hurt just to feel something.

This album reflects the war that is being currently fought the world over in our minds and hearts”.
