How does a person in a “Cryogenic” State Dream? Why does the music of Red32 deal with the theme of “We destroyed this world and need to get to a new world ASAP”?  Will you hear the answers on the new RED32 album, “Cryogenic Dreams”?

The musical time travelers—Steve Bonino (lyrics, bass, vocals), Tony Romero (Synth, spoken word), Eric Confer (guitars), Jimmy Keegan (drums), Robeone (keyboards, synthesizers)—have combined their limitless imaginations and the equally endless Scientific ideas to ask the questions that could prevent the destruction of planet earth or save the human race in musical form.

“This album is a concept album about leaving the planet earth we rendered uninhabitable in search of a new home and our hopes to be better in the future,” says RED32’s lyricist and co-lead singer Steve Bonino.

Soul searching, leadership, confrontation, and hope for the future are themes explored on “Cryogenic Dreams.”   The powerful rock guitars of Eric Confer showcases energetic rock songs “Continuum” and “Outer Limits” that start the album. “Continuum” deals with self-inflicted wounds from the human race and then “outer Limits” focused on a primary dream that “we hope to be better humans than we were on earth when we reach our new world.” The visions described in the highly percussive “Puddle Of Tears” are on the destruction of Planet Earth and its animals, and “Face of Sorrow” on the children dying. Spacey keyboards and synths from Robeone and Spoken word and more synths from Tony Romero focus on the spiritual messages in the reminiscent “Before The Rain” and the lighthearted prayer “Our Resting Place” are continue the movements of the traveler’s “Cryogenic Dreams.”

The album’s climatic confrontational “Hollow Heart” is a message that damns the short-sighted powerful people on earth who ignored for so long the threat of global warming.” Hence a new brand of leadership unfolds in “Finding A New Home,” which Steve offers in the energetic, “song of continued hope despite the tragedies that we experienced and an expression of our will to carry on and be better than we were.”

Following the success of RED32’S self-titled debut album, which Let It Rock’s Dmitry Epstein wrote, “Playing a dangerous game, American progressive rock quartet stop moral corruption from spreading its wings with the power of a tune,”  and winning Prog UK’s track of the week for July 14, 2023,    the group invited now current Pattern Seeking Animals’ drummer Jimmy Keegan to play live drums on most of the album. The first release had Steve playing drums.

Cryogenic Dreams” was mastered by Peter Matuchniak and will be out on TransGlobal Records on October 17, 2025. The videos were produced by musician and video editor for the stars, Blake Carpenter.

Red32 is a new crossover progressive pop rock band based throughout the United States featuring members of Tony Romero’s Vortex, Xaoslord, Bomber Goggles, and States. The band strives to blend the varied influences of its four members into a forward-looking musical expression.
