Rio de Janeiro-based symphonic heavy metal band Revengin has announced the release of their second album, Dark Dogma Embrace, set for April 11. The album will be launched under the Italian label Wormhole Death Records, marking a significant milestone in the band’s 17-year career. The new chapter introduces modern elements while preserving the group’s signature sound, characterized by synthesizers and sequencers.
The band has already released three singles from the album – “Circle of Mistakes”, “Decadent Feeling”, and “Wish You The Same but Worse” – accompanied by music videos. These tracks showcase a distinctive blend of intensity, progressive structures, cinematic depth, and melancholic tones, reinforcing Revengin’s commitment to high-quality production.
“’Dark Dogma Embrace’ is a deeply personal album, delving into emotions we often try to suppress or ignore. It’s more visceral, darker, and incorporates modern elements alongside our traditional orchestrations. One major evolution is in the vocals, which explore a broader range beyond the lyrical style,” said lead vocalist Bruna Rocha.

Recorded at Tellus Studio – renowned for collaborations with Onslaught, Ektomorf, and Borknagar – the album was produced by the band alongside Caio Mendonça and Rômulo Pirozzi. The production, mixing, and mastering process reflects the band’s evolution, demonstrating a refined sound and a commitment to innovation.
“We have matured – not just over time, but musically and in terms of our artistic direction. When we started, everything was experimental; we were still searching for our identity. While we always stayed true to our vision, our approach was more exploratory. Now, we have a clear sense of what we want and how to achieve it, which is evident in our recent singles,” she shared.
Revengin, formed by Bruna Rocha (vocals), Thiago Contrera (guitar/growl vocals), Themys Barros (guitar), Diego Pirozzi (bass), and Naciffe Jr. (drums), has built an international reputation over its 17-year career. The band has performed at major festivals, including Rock in Rio, and has toured extensively across Europe and South America, playing in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, the Netherlands, Germany, and Argentina.
With Dark Dogma Embrace, Revengin cements its place as one of Brazil’s leading symphonic metal acts, showcasing artistic growth and a desire to reach new audiences worldwide.
“This album has become something far greater than it would have been three years ago. We are incredibly proud of it, and it represents a pivotal moment for us—not just musically and aesthetically, but culturally as well,” concluded Bruna Rocha.
