Aaron Kusterer
A Little Louder
Out: October 11th, 2023
Playing time: 17:55

Of all instruments, the guitar is essential to singers, songwriters and musicians.

That’s the first sentence in the short email press release for the latest EP “A Little Louder” by US producer and musician Aaron Kusterer. The text goes on to talk about blistering guitar riffs. In his twenty-three-year career, he has worked with great musicians. These include Eddie Money, Jennifer Batten and the Morgan Leigh Band. Using this experience, he then became involved in song production, commercial music and even film music. His credits include two instrumental EPs, various singles and the current EP. The songs on the EP were written by Aaron Kusterer. He also produced and mixed them himself at AK Studios & Productions. The mastering was done by John Cuniberti.

“Only Be Me” is an upbeat guitar-heavy song. And yes, there are some very good riffs to be heard. There’s more groove to be heard on “Learning To Feel”. And it invites you to dance. Especially thanks to the catchy chorus. And the EP remains varied. “Your Road” starts quietly and is extremely suitable for airplay. Classic AOR. On the other hand, you can hear wonderful Melodic Hard Rock on “Leaves”.

“A Little Louder” is a varied EP. Aaron Kusterer lets off steam in extremely different genres. This gives an indication of what he is capable of as a musician.
