The Blanket Hill or as they are called fro the fans “Luxembourg’s Hardest” have released their second full length album entitled “The Ash That Shall Remain”. After their formation in 2015 they have have 4 releases under their belt, the “Kaizen”EP (2015), “Trenches Of Reality” (2017), and two full length albums ” The Courage Of Hopelessness” (2022) and “The Ash That Shall Remain” (2024). They are a live band with over 100 live performances, that with each release they managed to conquer the world starting for Luxemburg, the UK, Eastern and Western Europe, and Japan.
Their “Ash That Shall Remain” is a very interesting release, composed by eleven track and a total run time of circa 39 minutes. There are three songs that will blow your mind : the two video singles “Eau Rouge” with it’s Hardcore riffs and the Rap rhythm vocals, the mid tempo, with aggressive and dark riffs “Let the Hammer Swing” and the Hardcore/ Melodic Death Metal track “Halcyon Days” another big but of the album.
“The Ash That Shall Remain” is their best release till now, raw, aggressive, with melodic parts that soothe their hard sound, all the songs of the album from first to last make the listeners hear the album from the begining to the end and each time they find little hid hidden treasures that make them stuck with it from the beginning to the end, a release that you must listen
