Innerverse is a Symphonic Progressive Metal two man band from Greece, Lambros Marandos composer and instruments, and Vasilis Marandos on the vocals. They released their eight track long debut album on titled “Awakenings” on October of 2024,seven of which are instrumental and the only track with lyrics is “The Promise”, and the most important thing is that the songs have ethic elements. The production of the album and mixing was made Bob Katsionis at the Sound Symmetry Studios.
The most representative songs of the album are: “The Promise” as we mentioned earlier its the only track with lyrics and its a mixture of elements from the Classic music and the Hard and Heavy Metal tradition of Greece, some will is a tribute to the 90s sound and genre. Another one is the “Fractal Of Loss a deeply emotional song with middle eastern melodies and metal melodical solos and heavy metal riffs. “Radical Revolution” is the track that represents accurately the vision of the band it’s melodic, it is a mixture of Progress Metal, with Classical music and ethics elements from the Greek tradition music and middle eastern. Another track is entitled “Course Of Life” a power progressive song that is a celebration of life.
“Awakenings” is an very interesting album, every song with their melodies awaken sensations, emotions and memories with that move the listeners to their core. An album that anyone should have in their collection.
