On Friday, November 1st, 2024, the debut album of the Greek Band Shinigami entitled “Borderline PD», was released.

“Borderline PD is a concept eight track long album that follows the gripping chase between a detective and a mysterious killer. Their story unfolds in a dark, tension-filled world where the boundaries between hunter and prey often blur. While narrating this trilling story the album delves into themes like psychological struggle, inner conflicts, and the fragility of human relationships, aiming to touch both the hearts and minds of listeners.

Musically “Borderline PD” combines intense soundscapes and profound lyricism, offering a unique journey to listeners eager to discover the hidden layers of the story.

 In “Borderline PD” there are songs about the thrill of the chase like “The Game”,”A Legacy Of Violence”, ” To Catch A Killer” and the “Chase”, fast-paced, with melodic and catchy riffs on the guitar keyboards lines, and the bass lines that built up the tension. There are also songs that are dark, cold with menacing atmosphere   like” At The Scene Of The Crime”, “Count The Dead” and “Endgame”, all of them are tracks with hard riffs and melodies on the keyboards that create a nightmarish and breath taking ambient.

“Borderline PD” it’s an audio movie, each song is a different chapter of the thriller, a cat and mouse chase that has a tragic end, full of emotional ups and downs that the band created in such a way to captivate the interest of the listeners and create vivid images out of each and every note. Shinigami wrote a great debut album, and we can’t wait to hear their next album.
