To mark the occasion, the band present the new single “Passing Hours” — a reflective yet empowering anthem urging listeners to live in the here and now instead of dwelling in the past or worrying about the future.
“‘Passing Hours’ is about embracing the present moment,” explains vocalist Tobias Hübner. “Time always moves on — you can’t change what’s gone or control what’s ahead, but you can live fully right now. That’s what this song stands for.”
“Time” dives deep into the human relationship with mortality, meaning, and the passage of existence. From the frustration of lost moments in “Time Thief “ to the search for enlightenment in “Eye Of Wisdom”, the album balances power and introspection across ten tracks filled with striking melodies, twin-guitar leads, and commanding vocals.
Produced by the band together with Marc Ayerle, who also handled mixing and mastering at KlangMAnufaktur, “Time” captures SKULL & CROSSBONES at their most mature and confident stage yet. The artwork was created by Michael Vetter, while additional keyboard arrangements on “Thunderstorm” and “The Ocean’s Call” were provided by Tobias Hübner.
