UK Black Metallers NECRONAUTICAL Unleash Lyric Video For “Enemy Of The Grave”!
New Album “The Second Death” Out December 4 via Vendetta Records
UK black metal outfit NECRONAUTICAL has announced their fifth full-length record, “The Second Death”, set for release on December 4 via Vendetta Records. In support of the album, the band has unveiled the first single “Enemy Of The Grave”, accompanied by a lyric video, which can be viewed here:
Speaking about the track, vocalist/guitarist NAUT shares: “Today Necronautical are proud to share music from our new album ‘The Second Death’. Check out our new track ‘Enemy of the Grave’, with the accompanying lyric video / visualisation by Killian Monson, and released in conspiracy with our new label Vendetta Records. The song is about the strength and resolution we gain through our enduring suffering and perseverance, with the visualiser dragging you through the madness and chaos of the music before finding it’s somber resolve. For me, this track is the crown of the album, closing out the chaotic journey it follows.“

Crafted through five years of painstaking and passionate dedication, “The Second Death” stands as the band’s most ambitious and diverse work to date. Spanning from spacious ambient Gothic passages to all out Extreme Blackened death, this album takes you on a twisted journey: leaving no stone un-turned. The diverse themes are tied together with an emotional and impassioned vocal delivery, and lyrics that expose dark and personal reflections on the darkest times in the life of the writer, creating a surprisingly personal and emotive album from the total chaos of painful existence, taking the listener on an ice cold voage through anguish and despair, towards a stoic and resolute conclusion.
This is an album about seeing, knowing and defeating your demons:
Death is when you leave this world, The Second Death is the last time anybody utters your name. The distance between them is the measure of the impact of a live.
