Progressive metal upstarts, URSA announce new album ‘Call of the Infinite’, out March 15th
Fans of progressive metal, post-metal and metalcore can feast their ears on ‘Call of the Infinite’ by URSA. After releasing a couple of instrumental singles that have garnered widespread acclaim and extensive radio play around the globe, the Belgian metal outfit last year announced a new chapter with the arrival of vocalist Jan Buekers (ex-Sons of a Wanted Man). The first taste of the new line up was the single ‘Primordial Crown’ released in May 2024 with a live music video. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0mLrK8h__8
URSA urgently needed an album that was truly representative of what the band is today. On ‘Call of the Infinite’ they re-release their instrumental material with vocals. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by URSA guitarist and founder Alexandre Belli. With ‘Call of the Infinite,’ URSA lays a solid foundation for the band’s future. The guys from URSA are already looking further ahead and have several new singles lined up for release in the near future. In the meantime, listeners can indulge in ‘Call of the Infinite‘. The album is available on all popular streaming services and in CD format through the band’s web store and Bandcamp along with brand new merchandise.

About URSA
URSA is a progressive metal 5-Piece from Limburg, Belgium, combining gut-punching riffs with whirling time signature changes, atmospheric melodies and roaring vocals. The wide range of influences spanning from modern progressive metal to post-rock delivers an ever-surprising cocktail, listeners are sure never to forget.
The band sprung into existence as an instrumental solo-endeavor by ex-Horses Blew Fire frontman Alexandre Belli who was quickly joined by his old bandmates Staf Wouters on bass and Niels Valkeners on drums as well as Luciano Monsegue on guitars. The last puzzle-piece was found in 2023 when Jan Buekers (ex-Sons of a Wanted Man) added his vocals to URSA’s sonic arsenal.
After an explosive first year with this lineup, setting stages on fire all over Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, URSA is now set to release their album ‘Call of the Infinite’.
