VEIL OF THE SERPENT releases cover version of legendary ICED EARTH classic “Watching Over Me”!

His spirit’s like the wind, the angel guarding me…

After releasing a successful cover version of “Burning Times” earlier this year, heavy metallers VEIL OF THE SERPENT honor the 25th anniversary of ICED EARTH‘s fifth studio album “Something Wicked This Way Comes” once again by releasing their very own breathtaking version of the immortal classic “Watching Over Me“.

VEIL OF THE SERPENT‘s Felix comments:
“Jon Schaffer wrote “Watching Over Me” for his best friend, who was killed in a motorcycle accident. The song is about his death and their friendship. As ICED EARTH‘s fifth studio album “Something Wicked This Way Comes” reached it’s 25th anniversary this year and christmas is around the corner, we thought it would be the perfect time to release a cover of this amazing ballad. No matter the race, religion or the political opinion, think of your loved ones and honour your personal heroes. Merry Christmas!”
