Casagrande was born in Soncino, a small medieval village in northern Italy, on June 20, 1973.

After completing civil service, he formed his first musical trio the “Castigo.” With them, he recorded a three-song demo. He joined the death metal band “Aphelion”. In 1999 his pseudo-album, “No Sex, No Drugs, No Rock ‘n’ Roll,” received a positive review from Metal Hammer.

In 2010, through Facebook, he reconnected with some former Aphelion members who had made a decent music career in the meantime. This led to the idea of creating another solo music project.

In 2013, his EP “Old School” was released. in 2018, he released two new songs, “Theories” and “Gangstalker”, released his LP “Casagrande” through Soman Records in 2020.

After the COVID-19 pandemic ended, he resumed making music,  released his LP “Casagrande” through Soman Records in 2020 and creating two more songs, “Mollami,” sung in Italian, with all the music played by him, and “Suicide Waltz” just released, with the collaboration of internationally recognized musicians.
