Swedish Goth Metal maestros Tribulation reveal more album infos and the third single Hungry Waters of their forthcoming 6th studio album Sub Rosa in Æternum, which is out on Nov 1st via Century Media Records and now available for pre-order.

Tribulation’s Hungry Waters is a mesmerizing exploration of the depths of desire, the pull of oblivion, and the relentless hunger that drives humans forward. This song captures the haunting tension between yearning and surrender and the lyrics weave a dark and immersive narrative, and paint the powerful imagery of drifting through endless, treacherous seas.
Guitarist Adam Zaars comments on the new single and video release as well as pre-order start for Sub Rosa in Æternum: “Hungry Waters takes us yet further down this untrodden path we’ve entered and is something we’ve simply never done before. For me it’s one of the highlights of the upcoming album with its mix of melancholy and fervour and its intricate musicality. Can you handle it? I think you can.”
On Sub Rosa in Æternum, Tribulation conjure new beasts: Part psychological horror of Italian cinema, part gaunt British goth, and part Art Deco opulence, Sub Rosa In Æternum is a blazing torch upon a cloudy, skeleton sky.

In June, Tribulation released the first single Saturn Coming Down. Accompanied by a haunting music video, the single revealed a new side of the band while staying true to their dark sound and compelling melodies.

About Tribulation
Tribulation is known for their unique blend of gothic and death metal. Formed in 2005, the band consists of Johannes Andersson (Vocals/Bass), Adam Zaars (Guitar), Joseph Tholl (Guitar) and Oscar Leander (Drums). They have released several captivating albums during their career and are renowned for their theatrical live performances.
Sub Rosa in Æternum marks the first release of the band after their 2023 EP “Hamartia”, which has achieved critical acclaim after Tribulation’s award-winning last studio album “Where the Gloom Becomes Sound” in 2021.
