OBEYER, the dynamic new British four-piece formed out of the ashes of Lay Siege, have released their highly-anticipated debut album, Chemical Well, through 3DOT Recordings (listen here). The band simultaneously released a video for “A Momentary Death.”

Chemical Well has been a long time in the making so we’re incredibly excited to be able to finally share it with everyone,” OBEYER said, jointly. “We poured absolutely everything into it, pushing ourselves to explore new ideas and take risks. We couldn’t be more proud of this album, it’s a true reflection of what we’ve been working towards and we hope these songs connect with everyone the way they have with us.”

In the lead-up to today’s release, OBEYER introduced themselves with a series of singles. First up was the two-track single of “Second Sun” and “Radiant,” followed by “Witness,” giving listeners a taste of what was to come. Revolver described the pre-release tracks as “progressively-pivoted, percussively jud-quaked rhythms with reckless abandon,” MetalSucks said the band’s music is “sure to inspire all sorts of chaos in the pit” and boolin tunes praised the album, saying “it is rather refreshing to hear an album this unrelenting.”

3DOT Recordings co-founder and Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor expressed his enthusiasm for having the new band on the label roster: “The early support for OBEYER has been amazing and we want to thank everyone for checking them out.”
