BANK MYNA Unveil Their “Live at Beaux-Arts de Paris”

Dark post-rock quartet BANK MYNA to premiere a brand-new project at the crossroads of several artistic disciplines :“Live at Beaux-Arts de Paris”.

A year after the release of their album ‘Eimuria’, dark post-rock/ritual doom quartet BANK MYNA have taken up residence in the heart of the Chapelle des Petits Augustins (Beaux-Arts de Paris) to record two tracks from the opus. The release features a video and a vinyl/CD recording, both due out on May 20th 2026 via Medication Time and Stellar Frequencies: “Live at Beaux-Arts de Paris”. Everything is noise are doing us the favor to premiere the live session today. 

Dark and ritualistic, the tracks “No Ocean Of Thoughts” and “The Shadowed Body” blend obsidian-tinged post-rock with doom metal elements and delicate slowcore. Serving as the backdrop for their press photos, the venue embodies the continuity of BANK MYNA’s universe. Its volumes, history and light create a magnetic space, shaped by time, where each sound seems to naturally find its place.

The band has paid particular attention to the physical items accompanying this live session. Produced in very limited editions, they have been designed as pieces of art, rooted in BANK MYNA’s aesthetic. The silver-ink risograph printing, created by Magma studio, interacts with a layout designed by Maud Harribey, a band member. The CD sleeves were handmade by herself. The vinyl sleeves were cut and screen-printed by the labels (Medication Time Records and Stellar Frequencies), as were the transparent vinyl records, which were hand-painted. The visual identity was created as a monotype by Vaderetro.

Formed in Paris in 2013, BANK MYNA build a singular sonic universe where dark post-rock blends with drone, experimentation, and doom-laden undertones. The quartet creates music that unfolds slowly-textured, immersive, and charged with  unrelenting emotional intensity. A spectral, haunting voice rises through silence and noise like an invocation, guiding the listener across shifting landscapes that teeter between fragility and collapse.
BANK MYNA self-released an eponymous EP in 2016. Following a line-up change, the band unveiled its debut album ‘Volaverunt’ in 2022, a bold combination of drone, doom and experimental music. This release laid the foundations of their sonic identity and came to life thanks to the records labels À la dérive, Araki, Cold Dark Matter, Duality, and Stellar Frequencies who also supported the release of the live session ‘The Open Door’.
On stage, BANK MYNA transcend the idea of a live show to deliver something closer to a ritual. Their trance-like shows oscillate between stillness and sudden eruptions, drawing the audience in before immersing them in sheer sonic force. Audiences at the Culthe Fest, Post in Paris, and countless French and European venues have already witnessed the raw power and beauty of their craft.
In April 25th, 2025, BANK MYNA released their second studio album, Eimuria, in collaboration with Medication Time Records, Araki Records, and Stellar Frequencies.
Their new live-session at Beaux-Arts de Paris will see the light on video, vinyl and CD this May 20th through Medication Time Records and Stellar Frequencies.
