Nostalgia to the max: The Butcher Sisters release a metal version of “Crazy Frog – Axel F”; LISTEN HERE
The band is now signed to Century Media Records
Welcome back to 2005: Crazy Frog dominates cell phone screens, and everyone knows the legendary ringtone. With “Crazy Frog – Axel F,” The Butcher Sisters bring back this cult moment and infuse it with an intense dose of metal. Somewhere between a nostalgic flashback and a mosh pit attitude, they’ve created a cover version that (un)surprisingly sticks in your head. Following its live performances at Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze, the Mannheim-based band now release their nostalgia-infused track for everyone to enjoy anytime.
Like its predecessor, “Una Cerveza” (released in July 2026), the new track is also being released with Century Media Records (Sony Music Entertainment). Along with the single’s release, the band has officially announced that it has signed with Century Media Records (Ariola Label Group | Sony Music Entertainment).
Markus Hartmann, Senior Vice President of the Ariola Label Group, commented on the signing: “I’m thrilled that we’ve signed the best band in the world.”
