Paranoia Church is back to haunt you!
Following the critical acclaim of the debut album ‘Till the Wolves Come Home’ (2025), which featured guest performances from Berzan Önen (Nevermore), Fabio Alessandrini (Annihilator), Tasos Lazaris (SteelArctus), among others, Paranoia Church is back to haunt you with the brand-new single ‘She Answers to Another Name’. The track is going to be part of the upcoming concept EP, ‘Harbinger of Tragedy’, slated for release in 2027 on CD, vinyl, and digital via Neptune Must Die! Records.
A mythological tale of abuse, revenge, and absolution, ‘She Answers to Another Name’ stands as Act II of the EP’s four-part narrative. The song follows a woman broken by the gods and cast down into Hell, only to return transformed into something they can no longer control. Her journey becomes a metaphor for violence against women, trauma, survival, and the long, painful road to healing and reclaiming an identity shattered by others.
‘She Answers to Another Name’ represents a more progressive chapter in Paranoia Church’s evolution. The single was written and produced by Bruno Rios, who also handled all guitars, bass, and keyboards, and marks the return of two Paranoia Church alumni: Samtar on vocals and Fabián Carrión Troya on drums. Rounding out the team, Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and producer Guilherme de Siervi handled orchestration, mixing, and mastering.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Bruno Rios hails from Fortaleza, Brazil, where he has been active in the underground scene since 1998. With his former band, Walking Back to Hell, he released an EP in 2007 and shared the stage with names like power-prog legends Angra.
In August 2023, Bruno spawned Paranoia Church, a midlife-crisis-fueled, one-man studio project drawing on influences ranging from Mercyful Fate to Tears for Fears, with detours through Marillion, Annihilator, and Type O Negative. Paranoia Church’s debut album, ‘Till the Wolves Come Home’, came out on August 8, 2025.
