The band has officially dropped their powerhouse new single, “Finish Line”, paving the way for their upcoming full-length album, Recognize, arriving October 14, 2026, via independent label Beat Farm Music.
Weaving dynamic rock energy with soulful Americana influences, “Finish Line” serves as a bold statement of intent. Named after lead vocalist Jaime Lynch’s personal mantra, Recognize captures the spirit of a group that refuses to be overlooked. Following previous high-energy releases like “W.O.M.A.N” and “Change”, the new single reinforces OG8’s signature blend of self-empowerment, unyielding grit, and infectious optimism.
A Movement Built on Independence and Authenticity
The driving force behind OG8 is founder, guitarist, and producer Troy Williver. Determined to build a career unburdened by corporate record label constraints, Williver established Beat Farm Music in early 2023. His vision called for a frontwoman who could match the band’s eclectic sound with undeniable commanding presence—leading him to award-winning vocalist Jaime Lynch.
Lynch—a multiple “Best of Las Vegas” winner known for powerhouse lead performances in Pussycat Dolls, Peepshow, and Vegas The Show—found an immediate connection with the band’s ethos.

For Williver, who spent his youth competing in and winning Quarter Midget Racing championships across the country, writing “Finish Line” brought his journey full circle.

Joining Williver and Lynch is an elite lineup of veteran musicians: Michael Thomas Underwood III (Drums), Renato Caranto (Saxophone), George Mitchell (Keyboards), Phil Baker (Bass), and Drew Canulette (Sound Engineer / Production). Together, OG8 delivers an unapologetic, authentic sound crafted by musicians who answer only to the music and their audience.

Original 8 (OG8) is a collective force of award-winning and seasoned musicians based in Portland, Oregon, focused on a shared ideological belief system of love of music over pursuit of ego. Founded in early 2023 by guitarist and producer Troy Williver alongside the Beat Farm Music label, the band blends rock, Americana, and blues into a powerful, authentic sound.
With nearly 50 years of professional industry experience, Williver—who has worked across sessions and tours associated with acts like Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Joe Walsh, Heart, and Green Day—joined forces with multiple “Best of Las Vegas” winner Jaime Lynch (Pussycat Dolls, Peepshow, Vegas The Show) to lead the project’s high-energy vision.
