Shallow Side have released a new song “Danger Zone  today via Thermal Entertainment. A cover of the 1986 originally performed by Kenny Loggins for the Top Gun movie soundtrack.

Eric Boatright on why they covered these songs “Being strapped up during the covid segment, it gave us a chance to revisit some of rock n roll’s finest. Ya know, life gives ya lemons, make rock n roll.”

The song is also the third and final cover song recorded during the pandemic at Instamix Studios in Iowa. Earlier this year they released two additional covers of  their favorite 80s hits, the first being “Juke Box Hero” by Foreigner followed up with “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey.

Back in 2016, the band covered Styx‘s “Renegade” which got rave reviews from Tommy Shaw and Eddie Trunk. View the video HERE

As the band is ending the cycle of promoting their first full length album, Saints & Sinners (2019), they have started to put together their next effort of original songs for a 2022 release.

Their overall discography also includes Origins compilation (2018), One ep (2017), Stand Up ep (2014) Home Today ep (2012) as well as several singles.

Their music catalog has surpassed 30 million streams and their music videos have surpassed 12 million on their YouTube channel alone.
