What was the beginning pint for your music career? How did it all start?
We have always been interested in music ever since we were kids, listening to all kind of music and wanted to be like them, you know how it is. Eventually we got hold of instruments and taught us little by little to play on them and startet playing together with different results for many years.So we learned more and more as time went by having a great time doing it.We managed to get some gigs locally and you know we were stars in our own little way, and then we started a real band and got serious about it. Members came and members went but we never gave up so here we are .
Was there any bumps on the road? What kind of challenges did you have to deal with?
Members who came and went have been a big problem especially for development, when one quits you need to get a new one and then he has to learn all the songs before we can make new ones have had a lot of it but we never gave up.
What was the most fulfilling and satisfying moment so far?
Well it must be that we have become quite professional in writing music.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
Hard hitting melodious hard rock with the influence of heavy metal.
What is your creative process like?
Aven writes the songs on guitar, Olsen make lyrics and melody to it and then comes the drummer bassist and lead guitar.It`s about what ever comes first in our minds and it works very well and it has a lot to do with what lies in the subconscious.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
I think the big record companies should listen more to indie bands and come up with more opportunities for them.
If you were asked to give a piece of advice to upcoming bands, what would that be?
Don’t give up and explore every opportunity that comes your way.
What has been the best performance of your career so far?
The music we have made.
If you didn’t become a musician, what would you be doing now?
I don’t know permanent job of some kind.
What is new with the band at the moment? What are you currently working on and would like to share with the world?
We have big ambitions to get out there and play our music in front of live audience as much as we can and we have a lot of music ready to be recorded for a hole album, so there is a lot of work ahead. We want to try to make Rabid Hood a hard hitting hard rock band that people notices and talks about, and I hope we will achieve that in this crazy music world we live in LoL. And that is our modest goal.
