I had just gotten a new guitar and it was the first song that came to me when I played it. About SOMETIME IN FEBRUARY:
Beginning as the instrumental prog rock/metal solo project of Charlotte, NC based musician, Tristan Auman, the guitarist/songwriter recorded the EP Here Goes with several studio musicians, before bringing on drummer Scott Barber and bassist Morgan Johnson as permanent members. As a group, they craft their own unique texture of progressive rock by taking pieces of post-rock and math-rock, as well as drawing influences from the likes of INTERVALS, HAKEN, and DREAM THEATER. With the release of the debut LP There Goes, they aim to carve out their own place in progressive music in the Carolinas and beyond. The debut album releases everywhere April 7th, 2023 and the band will be celebrating the release with a string of shows in the Carolinas.
