Founded by Veli-Matti Kananen (Kalmah) and Jon Pyres (Lycanthro, Threads of Fate), Violet Sin is a group that aims to create melancholic metal that incorporates various musical elements. After enlisting the talents of Jimi Myohanen (Se, Josta Ei Puhuta / Kaera / Swansong / Sadistik Forest) and Ari Levola (RASA), the band set out to record their first EP in late 2022, which is set to be released in 2023 under Inverse Records.”
