ANTANIA Unleash “33”: Avant-Garde Industrial Black Metal Extremists Announce New Album The Unholy 33
California’s ANTANIA return with their first single and official video “33”, unveiling their new album The Unholy 33, due October 16, 2026 via Argonauta Records. The duo will also hit the road across Asia alongside renowned Swedish extreme metal force The Crown.
Following the announcement of their signing with Argonauta Records, California-based experimental extreme metal duo ANTANIA, featuring Doc Luna and Kali Mortem, are ready to unleash their first new music for the label.
Today, ANTANIA reveal “33”, the first single and official video taken from their forthcoming new album, The Unholy 33, due for digital release on October 16, 2026 via Argonauta Records.
With “33”, ANTANIA further establish their singular approach to avant-garde black metal, industrial extremity and experimental electronics, delivering an uncompromising sonic assault built entirely without conventional guitars or bass. Synthesizers, crushing low frequencies, distorted textures and machine-like rhythms collide into a sound that is bleak, mechanical and ferocious.
Drawing from the pioneering extremity of Dodheimsgard, Mysticum and Thorns, alongside the dark electronic legacy of Skinny Puppy and Ministry, ANTANIA operate in a territory where the hostile atmosphere of black metal meets industrial precision and experimental sound design. Their music takes the intensity and darkness of extreme metal and rebuilds it through an entirely electronic arsenal, resulting in an unsettling and highly distinctive sonic identity.
The Unholy 33 expands this vision across eleven tracks, pushing ANTANIA’s experimental industrial black metal into even darker and more disturbing territory.

The album will initially be released digitally through Argonauta Records on October 16, 2026, followed at a later date by physical editions on CD and vinyl. Full details of the physical releases will be revealed soon.
But ANTANIA’s assault will not remain confined to the studio. Shortly after the album’s release, Doc Luna and Kali Mortem will take their extreme electronic black metal vision on the road, joining renowned Swedish metal force The Crown for a series of dates across Asia, followed by an additional appearance alongside Evergrey in India.
