UK Nu-Core band ‘Break Fifty’ are today thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of their debut EP ‘Every Scream Became A Whisper In The Dark’ and also share their new single ‘Second Skin’.

The debut EP (out Thursday 7th December 2023) is a profound and deeply personal narrative of the band’s journey through childhood trauma. Vocalist Angus shares “This EP serves as a testament to the restorative potency of music as a means of processing and expressing complex emotions”. ‘Every Scream Became A Whisper In The Dark’ will feature recent singles ‘A Familiar Face (Of Someone I Never Knew)’ and ‘Dreamland’. The later of which features guest vocals from Ben Mason (Bound In Fear / Pintglass).

Break Fifty have also today shared another single from the EP called ‘Second Skin’. Talking about the track vocalist Angus mentions – “Unveiling authenticity through the shedding of skins, this metaphor encapsulates the journey of baring truth. It’s about peeling away facades, exposing raw realities, and embracing the genuine self beneath. A powerful reminder that honesty births liberation.”

Break Fifty will make a hugely anticipated return to the live stage on 6th November 2023 when they share the stage with Prosthetic Records ‘CREAK’ in Liverpool. Tickets are on sale now right HERE.

Formed in 2017 in the South of the UK, Break Fifty are driven by a desire to break through the chains of conformity and push the boundaries of their genre. Their music is an unyielding and visceral assault on the senses that is not for the faint hearted.

Break Fifty recently introduced a new lineup with their previous single ‘A Familiar Face (Of Someone I Never Knew)’. The band introduced Angus on vocals and Batch on Guitar which injected even more energy and passion into their already electrifying performances.
