Amerakin Overdose Debuts Hilarious Behind-the-Scenes Band Parody Video Featuring Manager Ronald Ruphie

Industrial Nu-Metal band Amerakin Overdose gives a behind-the-scenes look into the chaos of band life, humorously depicted by their fictitious manager, Ronald Ruphie.

Making a special trip to Portland for an update on the bands progress, Ronald Ruphie expresses his frustrations trying desperately to recoup and whip the slacking band members into shape. This new video offers fans a hilarious and candid glimpse into the band’s world through a clever and entertaining parody.

Directed by Bausik Filmco, the video combines satire and the music industry. Ronald Ruphie, known for his brutal and abusive managerial style, takes center stage, portraying the everyday challenges of pushing the band toward stardom with a comedic twist.

“We wanted to share a different side of our band with our fans and we like to make fun of ourselves,” said Cody Perez, lead singer of Amerakin Overdose. “Ronald’s portrayal is funny and spot-on, showing the constant balancing act between creativity and commercial pressure. It’s a fun way to showcase the cringe, connect with our audience, and let them see the lighter side of what we do.”

Amerakin Overdose will release their thrid album “Artificial Infection” on CD and streaming services on July 12. Engineered by Ukrainian producer Nikolas Roy Quemtri at NRQ’s Studio, the album will include a track in Spanish accompanied by a music video for the title track, “Artificial Infection.”

With the LP, Amerakin Overdose is hitting the road. Playing Rock Fest in Cadott, WI, and opening for acts like Thirty Seconds To Mars, Shinedown, and Jelly Roll, the band is giving fans nationwide a taste of their signature live performance, which captures the raw essence of a society marred by disillusionment, corruption, and decay through barbaric mutated sub-human characters left over after being exposed to the cesspool of greed and corruption—all of the horrors and temptations in American society. Scarred from humanity’s self-destruction, Amerakin Overdose embodies the raw, unfiltered reality of a society plagued by its vices and shortcomings.

Revolver Magazine also announced the upcoming Amerakin Overdose album and premiered the video, “Damaged,” on May 16, 2024.

Revolver writes, “Industrialized nu-metal trio Amerakin Overdose have announced their new album, Artificial Infection, and offered up an acidic taste in the form of the single “Damaged.” The pummeling cut was co-produced by Cristian Machado of Ill Niño and Lions at the Gate fame, and it arrives with a high-octane music video filmed and edited by Bausik Filmco.”
